Bartof Café is located on Nordre Fasanvej. The café serves cold beers and good music for every taste. The beer selection is extensive and includes brews from a wide range of countries. If you’re feeling a bit peckish, there’s no need to worry – the café also serves snacks, sandwiches, and other light dishes. Live music is regularly featured at the café, with a focus on blues and world music. This means you can enjoy live performances that go beyond the Western pop, rock, and classical traditions. The venue stands out in particular for its intimate, pub-like atmosphere, with dark red ceilings, music posters along the bar, and an old cigarette machine that now serves as decoration.
Just across the street from Bartof Café is Galleri Bartof, which is affiliated with the café. The gallery is small and intimate, but well worth a visit either before or after your café stop at Bartof. The exhibitions are renewed regularly, and new works are presented at exhibition openings and other events. If there is no one in the gallery when you visit, you can ask for assistance in the café.
On Solbjergvej you’ll find Bartof Station, an event and music venue that regularly hosts great concerts, stand-up shows, music quizzes, and much more in atmospheric surroundings.
