Christiania's Ice Rink

From November 22nd through January 4th, the Freetown Christiania invites you to enjoy ice skating right in the middle of Pusher Street. The skating rink features both a large square and a long track, with Christmas lights shining above you and the scent of holiday spices from the surrounding food stalls filling the air. When your feet need a break from skating, you can pause at the nearby stalls, which serve gløgg, hot cocoa, soup, and much more. In other words, the coziness is turned all the way up!

Everyone can join in on the ice. You can rent skates or bring your own, and if you need a little extra support, there is the option to rent a skating aid, in the form of a little animal, to help you maintain your balance.

If you prefer to sit back and watch the skaters glide by, there’s plenty of opportunity to do so. You can relax, take in the atmosphere, and let yourself be carried away by the festive and warm holiday spirit that fills the entire area.
