Hegnsholt is a vibrant organic farm with a farm shop and animals, set in close harmony with nature. Here, you can experience everyday rural life, enjoy freshly baked bread, and witness the changing seasons.
Hegnsholt brings together organic farming, animal welfare and local ingredients in a scenic countryside setting. The farm is open year-round, and during the summer months, you can walk along the animal enclosures and see the animals up close. In late summer, there's a pick-your-own raspberry field, and the farm shop offers fresh coffee, juice and home-baked goods.
Experiences
The farm shop offers sourdough rye bread, wheat loaves, rolls and swirls – all baked with a focus on craftsmanship and quality. Occasionally, sourdough pizza dough is also available. The selection changes regularly, so it's a good idea to follow social media for updates on products and opening hours.
You can enjoy a walk along the paddocks and greet the animals. You can also take a stroll down to the nearby stream and follow a short stretch of the Skjoldungestien – a nature trail in the region – while enjoying the peaceful landscape.
