KU.BE in Frederiksberg is a cultural and movement centre that brings people together for everything from creative expression to physical activity. The architect-designed building offers 3,800 m² of possibilities, inviting people of all ages to explore their bodies, creativity and new ways of being together.
Visitors can participate in a wide range of activities, including yoga, dance, concerts, workshops, movement courses and cultural events. Some days the centre buzzes with energy, while on other days the rooms invite calm, contemplation and slowness. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are designed as open invitations to explore and try something new.
KU.BE is created as an open space where established associations, cultural actors and self-organised initiatives meet and develop activities side by side. This creates a dynamic everyday life where both planned events and spontaneous ideas shape the house.
The ambition is to be a meeting place for citizens: a place where people can meet across interests, generations and backgrounds, and where culture and movement are not separate worlds, but part of one shared experience.
