Roskilde Dyrskue is Denmark’s largest agricultural and livestock fair, bringing together farming, nature, and culinary experiences in one vibrant event each year. Visitors can encounter thousands of animals, an impressive display of agricultural machinery, local food products, and activities for the whole family – young and old alike. The next fair will take place from 29 to 31 May 2026.
Tradition and Experiences Across 35 Hectares
At the show, farmers, animal lovers, and curious guests come together. More than 2,000 animals are showcased in the rings and stables, competing for top rankings. Visitors can get up close to the competitions and gain a unique insight into Danish farming traditions.
Machinery, Food, and Culinary Craft
The large machinery exhibition presents the latest in agricultural equipment and tractors, while Spisekammeret (literally “The Pantry”) offers local produce, food workshops, and culinary delights. Here, guests can explore Danish food craftsmanship and sample products from all over the country.
Fun for Children
Roskilde Dyrskue is also a popular destination for families with children. Kids can groom horses, watch sheep being sheared, try milking a cow, and meet the animals up close. The children’s stage features shows and interactive activities that bring agriculture to life for younger visitors.
