At Snoremark, you can experience the brewery and the organic cider orchard, where local ingredients are used to make award-winning mead, organic cider and other specialities. Old traditions meet modern brewing here, with drinks inspired by the Bronze Age and the Viking Age as well as contemporary recipes.

Snoremark is set in an elevated landscape by Roskilde Fjord, surrounded by burial mounds and churches. Around 6,000 litres of mead are brewed here each year, and Snoremark has received several awards – most recently a gold medal at the Apimondia world conference for its Luthendrank mead.

Mead, cider and tasting experiences

A visit to Snoremark offers a taste of the history of mead. Recipes developed in collaboration with the National Museum of Denmark and inspired by the Viking Age and Bronze Age sit alongside modern interpretations made with honey, apples, fruit and herbs. In addition to mead, Snoremark produces organic cider, vermouth, gin liqueur and non-alcoholic spiced apple punch.
