BaneGaarden

BaneGaarden is Copenhagen's new green food and culture destination - created to provide a platform for sustainable development. Nine large old wooden barns, a greenhouse and more than 1.5 hectares of wild nature make up what we call BaneGaarden. A green oasis, ecological village, peaceful haven and gastronomic centre. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, but still in the centre of the city, ideas grow wild and projects sprout. The old barns were built by DSB in 1909 and have been restored from A to Z and now house a food market, events, cultural programme, restaurant, bakery and much more - all with the vision of contributing to the green transition through enthusiasm and inspiration rather than finger-pointing. At BaneGaarden you can find:

TICKET

At TICKET you can get a round-trip ticket to a world cuisine experience as the restaurant changes its destination and menu regularly - in collaboration with some of the world's best chefs from around the world.

PERRON

The organic sourdough bakery PERRON serves buttery pastries and crispy pizzas, in addition to both hot and cold beverages.

FOOD BOARDS

Experience organic street food from around the world, such as hot dogs from Foderbrættet, fried chicken from ex-noma chef Matt Orlando's AMASS Fried Chicken, Karlos Ponte's South American soul food from PMY, crepes, couscous or other temptations.

EVENTS

From crayfish parties, salsa, bingo and clothing markets to long table dinners, Væksthuset brunches and concerts, BaneGaarden accommodates guests large and small, locals and tourists, large companies or small school classes, for a wide variety of events, either in the large courtyard under the string lights, inside one of the fine old wooden barns, under the treetops in the wild garden with the chickens or in the completely isolated Væksthus, which can only be found by walking through a secret green path.
