Egholm Museum - historic weapons, uniforms and everyday items

Visit Egholm Museum and explore more than 1,500 m² of exhibitions featuring historical weapons, uniforms, vehicles, and artefacts from the 17th century to World War II.

Delve into military history, the Wild West, and the world of hunting, with audio guides sharing the fascinating stories behind the many objects.

Discover one of Denmark’s largest private collections

The museum was founded by Ole Falck, who spent his life collecting all the items that make up today’s exhibition. Among the many intriguing artefacts is Ole Falck’s very first air rifle, a gift from his father when he was 16. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for collecting firearms and related equipment. The collection has since grown significantly, offering the whole family a journey through wartime history and the Wild West as seen in classic films!

Experiences for all ages

Egholm Museum has something for both children and adults. Young visitors can explore at their own level with tasks and questions placed throughout the exhibition. All exhibitions feature audio guides that provide a personal experience of the collection – almost as if Ole himself were your guide. The audio guide is available in English, and written material is provided for German-speaking guests. Group tours are available for up to 30 people. In 2026, special events are planned, including Cannon Weekend on 4–5 July, when the museum and surrounding park will be bustling with activities.

Take a break under the wings

After your visit, enjoy a cup of coffee in the museum café or at the charming 1950s hotdog stand. Biscuits and soft drinks are sold, and you are welcome to bring your own lunch to enjoy under the wings of the Draken jet or outdoors in the scenic surroundings. With advance booking, you can also order cake or a picnic basket from Chefs Cottage & Garden Café, offering delicious, homemade, organic food.
