In the architecturally striking Nordhavn district, in a new red-brick building, you’ll find the modern bistro Restaurant VIE – a contemporary take on the classic city tavern. As you step into the restaurant, you're met with concrete walls, exposed pipes, high ceilings, and a raw, industrial atmosphere. Restaurant VIE was founded by four friends who shared a vision: a restaurant where meals are enjoyed in a relaxed setting with family and friends. The menu features dishes created with inspiration from French traditions and Nordic cuisine, infused with flavors from around the world. The food is simple and classic, with a strong focus on flavorful, high-quality, seasonal ingredients sourced from carefully selected local producers. For lunch, you can enjoy a three-course set menu that changes regularly based on the ingredients in season. In the evening, you can choose either Restaurant VIE’s seven-course menu or explore their à la carte selection. Glass-fronted wine fridges line the walls, offering a view of the restaurant’s extensive wine collection. The wines are primarily European and have been specially selected and tailored to complement the day’s menu and the season.
