Nestled within Frederiksberg Gardens, restaurant Fasangården offers a timeless elegance. Led by talented chefs, it serves fascinating, honest, and down-to-earth food with a modern twist. Whether dining indoors or in the charming courtyard, Fasangården provides a peaceful setting for any occasion.

Like a small hidden oasis in Frederiksberg Gardens, you'll find restaurant Fasangården. Surrounded by lush green lawns, vibrant flower beds and tall trees, the restaurant is located in the historic building that was originally built to breed pheasants for the royal hunts under Christian the 5. The current building is from 1828 and has for many years served as a royal official residence.

Now the time as a royal residence is over, and after a major restoration by the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces, restaurant Fasangården opened its doors for the first time in 2020. However, the elegant charm and history have been well preserved, and both the facade and interior exude a timeless elegance that is hard to resist.

Danish food with a modern twist

The kitchen is now led by Andreas Ring Kjeldsholm Hansen, former head chef at the two-star Michelin restaurant Vollmers in Malmö, and together with chef Hector, they experiment with seasonal ingredients, resulting in fascinating, honest and down-to-earth food with a modern twist.

Fasangården offers both lunch and dinner menus. The menu can be enjoyed in Fasangården's colorful and unique living rooms with a view of Frederiksberg Gardens or, if the weather is nice, in Fasangården's own charming courtyard.

Fasangården is also the perfect setting for any occasion where you want an event in peaceful idyllic surroundings, but in the very heart of the city. Events can be hosted in the elegant living rooms or in Fasangården's custom-made fabric tents, which create the ideal setting for the perfect garden party.
